The Pulse Settings page makes it easy to set default notification settings for the Pulse product. You can also configure general Pulse settings on this page. To access Settings, click on Pulse in the left side panel, and then click Settings.
Notification Settings
Use this section to configure the default notification settings shown to users when they create a new Pulse survey. Although these default notifications are initially visible, they can be changed by the user during the survey creation process.
Activation Message
This section allows you to configure the default email and SMS templates for each survey's activation message that is sent out to workers when a survey is published.
Click the edit icon to view & edit the default text for each template, and click Done after making any edits to save them.
Reminder Messages
Configure the default settings that will be applied for reminder messages on the Collect tab of the pulse check creation editor:
Method: enable email and/or SMS to configure reminder messages to be enabled by default in all new surveys
Template: click the edit icon to update the default text for either method's template
When to send first reminder: Indicate how many days after the pulse survey is activated that the first reminder should be sent
Continuous reminders: Indicate how often, in days, follow-up reminders should be sent after the initial reminder
Maximum number of reminders: Set a limit on the total number of reminder notifications that will be sent to a single worker
The maximum value that can be set here is 20 total reminders
Reminders are only sent to workers who have not completed the entire survey.
Deadline Message
If a survey has a deadline set on the Activate tab, configure the default number of days before the deadline that a reminder will be sent, as well as the default text for that reminder.
Deadline reminders are only available via email.
Nudge incomplete & non-respondents
Configure the default text used in email nudges sent to workers who have not started or completed their assigned survey. These nudges are available from survey detail pages.
Important Note:
If a worker unsubscribes from SMS messages by sending "Stop" or a similar phrase, communication from Fountain will stop. You can review a worker's SMS status in their Worker Profile via the Pulse SMS Subscription attribute.
General Settings
