Background

The Fountain WX worker portal makes it easy for workers to view and complete all of their onboarding tasks in one centralized place. Set up the portal to display your company's logo and colors, along with a warm welcome message, to create a sense of belonging for your workers.

Note: Complete this step before adding any workers to the platform, since workers will have access to their worker portal as soon as they are added.

Setup Steps

To get started, go to the Worker Portal tab in the WX app.

We've made it easy to automatically generate a branded experience. Enter your company name and website, and let Fountain AI do the rest!

Fountain AI will create a professional and cohesive worker portal experience within seconds:

If you would like to make any updates, that's easy to do as well. Expand the following segments within the Worker Portal setup activity to do additional configuration:

Design

In this section, update your Brand Name, brand Logo, and primary/second brand & accent colors if needed.

A mobile-optimized preview on the right side of the screen shows how your updates will look to the worker in real time. Click Save once you've made all necessary changes.

Portal Welcome Message

This section allows you to configure the message that will appear at the top of the worker portal. This message sets the tone for a worker's onboarding experience, and helps to create a positive first impression.

If you'd like to update the AI-generated message, simply edit the text in the welcome message field. Here are some tips for crafting the perfect message:

  • Warm Welcome: Begin the message with a warm and friendly greeting. Express your excitement about having them join your team and highlight the value they will bring to the company.

  • Introduction: Provide a brief introduction to the company and its mission. This will give the worker a sense of what your organization stands for and its overall goals.

  • Positive Tone: Maintain a positive and encouraging tone throughout the invitation message. Let the worker know that you are excited about their contributions to the team!

Worker Invitation Message

This section determines the content of the message that each worker will receive, via email and/or SMS, when they are first added to the WX app. This message serves as an introduction not only to the worker portal, but to your company as well.

You can configure the Subject line of the message, as well as the Content. Toggles allow you to enable the message for e-mail and SMS (both are enabled by default).

Next Steps

Now that your worker portal configuration is in place, it's time to start adding your workers into the platform!

Click the Access Platform button to jump directly to the Workers activity, and follow the steps here to add workers.
