Getting Started with Compliance V2

Fountain Compliance makes it easy to keep your workforce compliant

Updated yesterday

Are you using the legacy version of Compliance? Review the articles in this section of the Help Center. All customers will migrate to Compliance V2 by the end of summer 2025.

Ensuring that your workforce meets local, state, and federal compliance regulations is important to any organization's operations, but can often feel like a full-time job.

Fountain Compliance makes compliance easier by consolidating the collection, review, and approval process of worker compliance documentation!

With Compliance, you can specify which compliance requirements apply to which segments of your workforce, track compliance across job locations, notify workers before their compliance documents expire, and quickly review newly submitted documents.

Compliance Options

There are two ways you can use Fountain Compliance: as a task within the Worker Portal to complete as your new hires onboard, or as a stage within your application that applicants will complete before hire.

During Application (Screening Stage) Benefits:

  • You can utilize Hire's CAI functionality to support stuck applicants who have questions.

  • Reviewing Compliance documents prior to hire can help ensure only compliant candidates are hired.

  • Recruiters can review and manage documents within Fountain Hire where they traditionally do most of their recruiting responsibilities.

During Application (Screening Stage) Considerations:

  • You must purchase Fountain Hire to use this option.

  • You must work with the Fountain team to configure Automation Center rules to update candidates to workers when appropriate. This is required to notify them when new Compliance requirements must be met.

  • If your hiring process allows applicants to apply to multiple job Openings at one time, this may not be the best fit for your use case. This is due to the complexity required with Automation Center rules.

  • If you have a lengthy application process, adding this stage may create additional application fatigue for your applicants, especially if you are requesting a number of Compliance documents.

During Onboarding Benefits:

  • If you have a lengthy application process, moving Compliance documentation requirements to onboarding creates a natural break in the process for the worker completing the information.

  • New hires are excited to get started and therefore, may be more engaged to finish completing the requirements quickly!

During Onboarding Considerations:
